Dear Santa Clara County Residents:
Recently Santa Clara County Communications developed a 9-1-1 education program which we would like to share with the community. The goal of our program is to not only encourage everyone to use the 9-1-1 system but to do it properly; focusing on positive behaviors.
As an emergency communications center in Santa Clara County, we serve all the residents in the county's unincorporated areas as well as the cities of Cupertino, Saratoga and Los Altos Hills. We provide dispatching services for the Santa Clara County Office of the Sheriff; Central Fire Protection District; AMR-West, the county paramedic provider; and a variety of small agencies such as public works.
Our primary contact with the public is when a need for help arises. We believe that education will enable everyone in need of the 9-1-1 system to use it properly and receive efficient service.
Our program has been created to reach many different groups; small children, parents, schools, businesses, etc. We are available to give presentations at job fairs, schools and all types of community and business groups.
If you are intersted in a presentation, please contact:
