Dave's Surplus Stuff Page

I really dislike throwing things away, as my friends and relatives will attest. I would prefer to give them to people who can use them or would enjoy tinkering with them, rather than taking up space at the landfill.

Here are a few used items that I no longer need, but which are taking up space in my garage. Some are for sale, some are for "give away," particularly to charitable or volunteer organizations who can use them.

If you think you can use one of these items, don't hesistate to send me a message. I always enjoy hearing or reading a good story. Creativity counts.

Give Away

General Electric microwave oven:
- needs a good home in the metropolitan San Jose area
White-Rodgers "Comfort Set" thermostat:
- Type S25-56
- for heating and cooling
- with "setback" timer
- battery backup
- still worked every day when replaced with an electronic model
- usable for parts or you can have the whole thing
